We can even make suggestions to maximize performance and reliability. RAID - not a problem, DTR handles a variety of RAID configurations too - including mirrored IDE, SATA and SCSI.
With DTR, you can rest assured that it your system integration is, done right, tested thoroughly and ready to go. Don't take chances with the others - DISCOVER THE DTR DIFFERENCE.
The DTR Status server is custom built. You don't need to try to fit into one of the "standard" configurations offered by some others because DTR builds each and every server to the exact specifications that you request. Processor speed, disk size and layout, memory, peripherals are all yours to choose. DTR integration includes the installation of ALL system components (tape drives, serial I/O, RAID, UPS, etc.) as well as the installation and testing of all needed drivers to ensure proper operation. DTR servers aren't just built custom - they are built complete.
When DTR integrates your server, we load and configure the operating system - SCO OpenServer, Unixware, SCOoffice Server, Red Hat Linux or Microsoft Windows 2003, MS Small Business Server, Microsoft Exchange - to your exact specifications. You choose the parameters that make the most sense for your customer and their particular application needs. System name, IP addresses, disk and filesystem layout, kernel parameters and RAID configuration are just some of the configuration parameters that DTR will set for you - or if needed, our experts can make technical suggestions for you. What good is system integration if it isn't done the way you need it done ? DTR does it right.
DTR treats each integrated server as something much more than a sum of the parts. We understand that your server needs to function reliably as a whole unit - so when we build it, we test it that way - as a whole unit. Ports are configured and tested - system backup utilities and media are tested (including the actual testing of disaster recovery software - see if the others do that) - UPS shutdown is confirmed - then the ENTIRE system runs performance tests overnight. You need to deliver a total solution to your customer - so DTR delivers a total solution to you.
For customers that don't need or want the custom integration offered by DTR, we offer QSS. QSS, or Quick Ship Servers offers a quick turn-around (servers ship in 3-5 days after receipt of completed order) at a reduced cost. DTR still builds the server to your speifications but simply loads an operating system "image". You still have the confidence that your server works and has been tested with the chosen O/S - but, QSS saves you money. CLICK HERE for details or talk to your DTR Account Manager.
